Essentials to Bring

Thing to bring to the pool

Before you head to the pool, make sure you pack the following items for a comfortable and safe experience:

Towels: Bring at least one towel to dry off after your swim. A quick-dry towel can be especially handy for multiple dips.

Goggles: Protect your eyes from chlorine and improve your underwater visibility with a good pair of swim goggles.

Swim Cap: Essential for keeping hair out of your face and reducing drag in the water. Swim caps are also required for those with longer hair in most pools.

Kickboard or Buoyancy Aids: Especially helpful for children or those learning to swim, kickboards and buoyancy aids provide extra support in the water, helping to build confidence and strengthen swimming technique.

Sunscreen: If you’re swimming outdoors, especially on sunny days, remember to apply a water-resistant sunscreen to protect your skin.

Flip-Flops or Pool Shoes: Stay comfortable and prevent slipping around wet areas with a pair of flip-flops.

Water Bottle: Swimming is great exercise, and staying hydrated is key, so don’t forget your water bottle!

You can find high-quality swim gear and accessories, including kicking boards, goggles and swim caps, at OasisSwim.com.

Swimwear Guidelines

What to wear swimming pool

To maintain a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly environment, proper swimwear is required for all visitors. Here are a few guidelines:

One-Piece Swimsuits: Ideal for both women and girls, offering good coverage and support.

Swim Trunks: The go-to choice for men and boys, providing flexibility and ease of movement in the water.

Rash Guards: Perfect for added sun protection and for those who prefer more coverage. Wear long-sleeved for added protection, short sleeved for more flexibility especially during swimming lessons. Great for both adults and children, especially during outdoor swims.

UV-Protective Swimwear: Recommended for younger children or those with sensitive skin. UV-protective clothing provides added defence against the sun’s harmful rays.
